Alanis MorissetteMise En Scene
The first thing which stands out is the virbriant and bold colours. Blue and orangey-red contrast with each other. Blue can connote cold emotions such as sadness and hurt. Orange/Red is a walm colour however is can connote both happiness and anger.
The picture is animated, it was constructed in this way to suggest that she is guarded or using a 'fake' identity to sell her album. Half her face is cut outside of the frame, we are also unable to see her costume and just her face features and the colours used on the artist are unrealistic and not life-like, this suggests that she is trying to hide something about herself.
However, in the image she faces front on looking out towards to the audience, it shows that she is confident and is making a connection to draw attention to her target audience.

The font used is century gothic. I noticed she uses no capital letters, the title appears quite simple and bland. Again this could reflect on the type of artist or the type of music she produces. Again orange has been used to draw attention to the artist's name and title of the album.
